I Just Ordered! When Will I Receive My First Kit?
When you purchase a subscription this month, you are really in the queue for next month’s kit. We know you're excited about your new adventure and want you to understand that your subscription will not come the same month you purchase it in, that is not how our fulfillment center works. If you want a single kit and a subscription, the single kit will ship separately.
Please understand that when you purchase a subscription, you are really in the queue for the following month and will not receive a shipment until that month. For example, when you purchase a subscription in November, you are really buying December's kit.
I can’t find my subscription or order, where can I go to view them?
You can log into your account here. The first screen you are taken to after logging in will show you your Order History.
To view your subscriptions, just click "Manage Subscription" and then navigate to the "Subscriptions" tab.
Please, reach out to us if you are having trouble finding your subscription. We are happy to help, and we will investigate further.
How do I cancel my subscription?
To cancel your active subscription, just follow these steps:
1. Login
2. Click "Manage Subscriptions"
3. Navigate to the "Subscriptions" tab
4. Select the Subscription you wish to manage
5. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Cancel Subscription"
6. Go through the confirmation process
How do I skip a month in my ongoing subscription?
To cancel your active subscription, just follow these steps:
1. Login
2. Click "Manage Subscriptions"
3. Navigate to the "Subscriptions" tab
4. Select the Subscription you wish to manage
5. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Skip this Order"
6. Go through the confirmation process
PLEASE NOTE: Whichever month you cancel is actually the next month's box, as our subscriptions are a month behind. If you want to cancel February's shipment, you will have to cancel January on your subscription.
How can I put my subscription on hold?
Follow the Cancel Subscription process above. After cancellation, you can reactivate your subscription at any time by visiting the Subscriptions tab of your account and selecting the inactive subscription that you wish to reactivate.
Can I purchase these kits in bulk for a school or corporate account?
Yes! Our kits are the perfect way to bring core subjects into your classrooms, camps or corporate events. Our STEAM recipes and themed projects allow you to easily supplement, extend, or enrich your current programs and curriculum. Our kits include everything you need from specialty supplies to dry ingredients and can be shared among students/campers. What Is an I’m The Chef Too! Adventure Kit?
I’m the Chef Too kits infuses educational concepts into recipes, making learning fun, engaging and tasty! Get ready to learn fun educational topics through baking and STEAM based projects. Each kit takes children on a fun filled journey through baking and crafting, infusing educational concepts along the way! Children are learning and exploring fun themes through hands on exploration and life long skills. Children receive an educational recipe, an on your own STEAM activity with shopping list, specialty supplies and premeasured ingredients.
Is This A Subscription Kit?
Yes, but you can cancel or renew any time. If you do not want to subscribe, you can purchase one of our adventure kits to try without any commitment! Please note that when you purchase a plan, you are not receiving that month's kit, you are really buying the following month's kit. Do not expect to receive a shipment until the next month, For example, if you purchaseon sept 1, you will receive your first box in October.
Can I choose which kits I receive?
With our subscriptions, you are unable to choose which adventure kit you receive, we release brand new kits every month to our subscribers on a schedule. If you would like to order individual kits, please click here.

What do I need to have ready for when my kit arrives?
You will need to provide all of the perishable and wet ingredients for the recipe and there is a short shopping list for the STEAM activity. There is a list of those items on the cover of each activity card in your box. These items include common household ingredients such as milk, eggs, butter, vegetable oil, etc. While we include molds, we do not include other items such as pans.Please read through all cards before you get started so you are prepared.
What is the difference between a gift subscription and a subscription?
Gift subscriptions allow you to enter another's email. They will receive an activation email which prompts them to add their shipping address. Orders that are ordered as a gift order are NOT shipped out immediately. They need to be activated first. Subscriptions will begin shipping the next month after they are purchased to whatever address is on file, with no activation needed.
What Ages Is Your Kit For?
Ages 4-14. Every recipe and project is open ended and allows children to add their own creative touch, making it fun for all!
What Kinds of Adventures Do Children Go On?
Children learn about a variety of topics through our adventures! Examples include the following:
Blasting off into outer space while making galaxy donuts, investigating chemical reactions through erupting volcano cakes, stepping into the roles of an artist and creating edible masterpieces, and more! Each adventure includes 1 recipe with 1 STEAM projects that support the theme of the kit. Both baking and crafts blend food, STEM and the Arts into educational fun!
We have allergies, can we eat your ingredients?
Many of our ingredients may be processed in the same facility, on the same equipment or contain traces of wheat, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, soybeans and or/milk.
We do not recommend using our kits if you have a child with these allergies.
Please inquire within for questions regarding specific ingredients.While we work to ensure that product information is correct, on occasion manufacturers may alter their ingredient lists. I am trying to apply two discount codes, but it is not working.
We only allow one discount code per purchase. If you enter more than one, the system will automatically select the one that saves you the most money.
Can my kids share the kit, will there be enough?
All kits can be shared and range from 2-3 servings! Email us for sharing recommendations.
Do your adventure kits repeat?
No, our adventure kits do not repeat. All of our past adventures are in the shop where you can purchase them at your convenience. These will not get rolled in to the subscription plan again.
What if my box and contents were damaged during shipping or my box is missing an item?
Customer service is a TOP PRIORITY for us. Our team is here to help. We will replace and ship out any damaged or missing items on the same day or next day at no cost to you! If you have any issues or concerns, please reach out to us directly and we can help.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you want to cancel your membership, you must do so before the next bill date or you will be billed for the following adventure kit. Please note that canceling your account does not provide you with a refund for any paid boxes or stop a pending charge. Your cancellation goes into effect for the following billing cycle. All pre paid monthly and annual memberships are non refundable.
I do not want my subscription to auto renew, how can I cancel?
You can log into your account at the link provided here https://imthecheftoo.com/account/. By canceling, you are not canceling your current subscription, just any future auto renewals so your card is not charged again.
